When we reframe failure as a way to grow, we're free to take risks, make new friends, and go where we've never gone before. We invited four perfect strangers to roam Alaska's Kenai Peninsula with us and put our latest packs and cold-weather layers to the test.

In our Fuego Hooded Jackets, Salto Pants, and Mari Tights, we were ready for the cold, the elements, and the adventures. Our Torre and Inca Packs were filled with all the snacks as we explored the Matanuska Glacier with our guide, Dr. Sarah.

This season, we're introducing our performance layering kit: Otero Fleece and Capa Jacket. With elements like the Otero's technical grid fabric and the Capa's synthetic insulation, they're built for Mount Alice-level pursuits.

For active cold-weather adventures, the Capa Insulated Jacket features zippered hand pockets and a movement-friendly zipper that makes it well-suited for layering. And by using Gold P.U.R.E. synthetic insulation from PrimaLoft®, it performs well even in wet conditions.

Adventure Travel Essentials

With our Allpa duffels and gear haulers packed to the brim, we towed our camping, photo, and video gear onto the Fox Willie water taxi.

The new Allpa 60L Gear Hauler features flexible construction for easy loading, dual tote handles so you can sling over your shoulder or hold in hand, interior and exterior pockets for organization, and top compression straps to secure your gear.

Late morning, we landed in Thumb Cove, a coastal inlet at the foot of three glaciers. After unloading at Spruce Glacier Cabin, we cracked open our Hielo Cooler Backpack and Allpa Gear Hauler for a quick lunch on the beach.
