The #JustLikeUs campaign brings communities together in support of a humanitarian response to the worst refugee crisis since World War II, which is due to war, enduring political crises, and natural disasters. You can make a difference for families who once had lives very much like yours by helping to ensure that refugees in the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. are protected and given the help they need to keep their families safe from harm.

Refugee families fleeing Syria and other countries afflicted by crisis are making desperate journeys to reach safety and rebuild their lives. For those who are crossing the treacherous waters of the Aegean to Greece, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is providing protection, warm winter gear, clean water and sanitation, transportation, and other emergency assistance.

The IRC is the only international NGO helping displaced families on all fronts. They have programs to aid those inside war-torn Syria and in Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and Iraq, where Syrian families have found refuge. They also provide assistance to refugee families across the Mediterranean region who have made their way to Europe, and to refugees from around the world who have been resettled in the United States.
